Membership Presence
The chart below shows the presence of IBMA members in USA,
adjusted by the current electoral college chart for US presidential elections.
This method may show a better "per-capita" presence of bluegrass in each state.
example: West Virgina and South Carolina show 15 IBMA members each but WV gets a better rating on "Electoral Strength" due to its lower electoral college number of 5 against 8 of SC.

The survey was based on a large quantifiable number of IBMA members in august 2005 (not the total number) identified by US state or foreign country location. For Non-US members the comparable electoral college base was ajusted in proportion to each country´s population in relation to USA.
example: Finland with a population of 5,2 million people would comparably obtain an
electoral college of 10 in USA (similar to the state of Maryland)
